I have been OC 90% of the time , along with a CC permit for about a year, and CC for 20+years in California.

Its a different world OC-ing, but once you get used to it you wont want to go back.

I'm thinking about getting two shirts made.

1)  GO AHEAD, ASK ME ABOUT IT, I WON'T BITE.....MUCH

2) This one I am considering for when I attend college shortly.
I HAVE A CONCEALLED HANDGUN LICENSE, AM I CARRYING?
DO YOU FEEL LUCKY?

I'm considering the second because here in Oregon there is a legal problem with carry on campus.  State law says you can and there's nothing the school (public ones) can say about it whether it's open or concealled.  Unfortunately, the schools will harass the student by banning them for not following school policy.  Legally they're wrong but they don't care because they figure you won't have enough money to fight them.  Currently we have a case going through the courts that is exactly on this point.  Anyway, I figure I can wear that shirt and NOT carry but still get my message across loud and clear while waiting for the administration to harass me for exercising my free speech by stopping me and demanding to search me.  I will audio record it and they will find no weapon but will have unlawfully detained me.

A bit radical but hey, they need to comply with the law just as all law abiding carriers do (by very definition).

I live in the Portland area and know if I packed a gun in downtown Portland they would put me in the public stocks upside down. I have never seen anyone around the Portland area exercising their rights to Open Carry. This is a liberal nest and many people that I know practicly faint when I tell them that I conceal carry. Its almost laughable how they have managed to Demonize our second amendment rights.

Heck I think only about 5% of the population hunt in the state anymore, even though it has a massive unpopulated land mass. Look at the hunting regulations to get a feel as to why that is.

I would be interested in finding out if there is local laws preventing open carry in Portland and the surrounding area.
