Welcome to Second Amendment March forum!  An online discussion board dedicated to our mission.

The mission of the Second Amendment March is to galvanize the courage and resolve of American gun owners; to petition our elected officials against establishing anti-gun legislation; and to remind America that the Second Amendment is necessary to maintain our right to self-defense.  It is the one right that protects all others.

We will accomplish our mission by a centralized, peaceful March on the United States Capitol, supported by satellite marches to State Capitols and smaller cities all across America.

Forum Policy

It is expected that elected officials, state employees, news media, and others are subscribed to this board for the purpose of learning who we are as a group. We are also aware of the fact that opponents of our cause monitor this forum daily. Keep this in mind when posting. Your comments, statements and behavior on this board impact and reflect upon all gun owners and supporters of the Second Amendment.

Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of political affiliation, gender, religion, nationality, or stance on gun ownership. We want to respect all points of view as long as it is presented in a polite and factual manner.

There are only a few rules

1.  We ask that you keep your language clean. If you wouldn't say it in front of your dear old grandma, you probably don't want to say it here. We cannot provide a comprehensive list of "Things Not to Say".  Posts that are contrary to policy may be edited or deleted at our sole discretion. Registration may be revoked if we deem such action necessary.  Please treat this venue as a polite discussion in a friend's home and respect the wishes of the hosts.

2.  Spamming, trolling, flaming, and personal attacks are prohibited. You can disagree with other members, but it must be done in a well-mannered form.  Attack the argument, not the arguer.

3.  Stay on-topic.  Discussions of abortion, religion and sexual orientation often degenerate into less-than-polite arguments. For this reason, these subjects should be avoided. Posts containing vulgarities, nudity, partial nudity, or other obscene material or adult content are not permitted.   Threads dealing with these subjects will be deleted.

4.  Many members of this forum either know or will come to know one another personally. When posting please refer to members by their forum user name and do not reveal or post their personal information in this public venue.

Note

Avoid publishing full names, personal phone numbers, street addresses, email addresses, etc. in either your posts or signature lines.  There are “bots” that do nothing but roam the web harvesting personal information and email addresses for spammers and identity thieves.
